Message from the Director: July 5th

We hope that you had a Happy 4th of July!  It’s been a great summer of watching Copa America and the Women’s World Cup!  Go USA!   I just wanted to provide a few updates in areas of Operations and Summer Workouts for the players. 

PLAYER REGISTRATION:

By now you should have submitted all of your paperwork, first payment, and completed the 2015-2016 on-line registration.  We realize that some of you were out of town/country in June, but at this time we need you to complete your player’s registration to keep your player’s spot on the team.  All paperwork and on-line registration at www.parklandtravelsoccer.com needs to be received/completed by July 10th .  Paperwork and payments should be mailed to: Parkland Soccer, 5944 Coral Ridge Drive #216, Parkland, FL  33076.

UNIFORMS:

All players should have received the email from SOCCER.COM regarding the uniform ordering.  All orders need to be placed by July 15th as they can take up to 4 weeks to receive.  If you did not receive an email from SOCCER.COM, please text your players name and team to 754-368-0158. 

Players are required to purchase  ALL of the following items: 

  • One (1) NAVY NIKE TRAINING SHIRT
  • One (1) NAVY NIKE HERTHA SHORTS
  • One (1) NAVY NIKE SOCKS
  • One (1) RED NIKE TRAINING SHIRT
  • One (1) RED NIKE HERTHA SHORTS
  • One (1) RED NIKE SOCKS
  • One (1) WHITE NIKE TRAINING SHIRT
  • One (1) WHITE NIKE HERTHA SHORTS
  • One (1) WHITE NIKE HERTHA SHORTS

SUMMER WORKOUT PLAN:

All of the teams will be receiving a Summer Workout Plan (per age group and gender).  When you receive your player’s summer workout schedule—PLEASE READ ITS ENTIRE CONTENTS BEFORE you begin training.  This summer workout is comprised to assist the players in preparation, and if you have any questions to clarify any area of the calendar, feel free to contact us upon receipt of this workout.  It is important that the players train as hard as possible over the upcoming months in order to prepare mentally and physically for the rigors of pre-season training.   The contents of the workout plan are the players responsibility and they will be thoroughly evaluated upon their return----Remember, eating properly and RESTING are a critical part of the players regeneration.  We expect players to be in excellent physical condition upon return to PSC.
